Well it is quite an interesting site but however i have a question.
I would like to know what Shafi’i Madhhab think about construction of Mazar or Mausoleum for a Saint or any ‘Alim or any pious person.
I would appreciate attached references from Qur’an, Hadith and Tafsir if possible.

I am not an admin from the site just a passer. Try asking that question to sunnipath.com. They have hanafi and shafi Imams who will be able to answer your questions with references. Anyway it is allowed in the shafi madhab, but as you need references you should ask them. One of the clear proofs i see is that Imam AssShafi (radi allahu anho) has a tomb himself which is situated in Egypt!

In the Shafi’i madhab there has to be 40 people, including Imam, for Salatul Jummuah to be valid.
